Balance & Coordination
Balance isn’t just about avoiding falls—it’s about confidence in your body.
Coordination and stability are what allow you to:
Move without hesitation
React quickly
Feel steady in everyday life
And like anything else, they improve with practice.
Try adding this to your day:
1. Single-leg stand (30 seconds each side)
Hold onto a chair if needed. Progress by letting go. You might even practice while brushing your teeth or washing dishes.
2. Heel-to-toe walk
Walk in a straight line, placing one foot directly in front of the other. Start by walking next to a wall so you can touch and catch yourself, if needed.
3. Light strength work
Stronger muscles = better stability.
4. Change surfaces
Practice standing on grass, carpet, or a softer surface to challenge your system. Practice the Single leg stand and Heel-to-toe walk on differenct surfaces.
These small challenges train your brain and body to work together more efficiently.
This is what it feels like to be Strong, Calm, Capable—not rigid, but steady and adaptable.
